
JMRL invites individuals, community organizations and businesses to participate in the 8th annual How-To Festival on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am-1pm inside and outside Central Library. Share your knowledge/skills/services and promote your business, organization or cause.
The How-To Festival is a drop-in library takeover event with short presentations and demos on a variety of topics. This fast-paced Festival attracts a large, diverse crowd of people who love learning and connecting.
Topics of interest include:
- Technology
- Arts + Crafts
- Food + Drink
- Repairs
- Outdoors + Environment
- Health + Wellness
- Community Resources
To be considered as a presenter, please submit an application. For inquiries regarding the event, please email howtofest@jmrl.org.
Final deadline to submit an application is April 17, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as we accept presenters largely on a first-come, first-served basis (after vetting through the online application).
To ensure you secure a space — especially if you require an outlet or have a strong preference for a specific room — it’s to your advantage to submit your application earlier.
