One of the biggest book sales in the region, the JMRL Friends’ semi-annual sale draws book lovers from near and far. “It’s exciting for us to open the doors and see lots of happy people buying the thousands and thousands of books and other items the community has generously donated.” says book sale manager, Peter Manno. In addition to books, the sale also offers music, movies, games, puzzles and ephemera, and is restocked each day of the sale.
Proceeds of the Friends of the Library book sale benefit JMRL, the regional public library system serving Charlottesville, Albemarle, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.
